Differentiation between cold sores (herpes simplex) and canker sores?
I have read that herpes simplex inside the mouth (hard / palate soft, the inner cheek, tongue ..) can be misdiagnosed as ulcers. What are ways to make a difference? I suffer with cold sores that occur outside the mouth in the region of Gold skin of the face, and I worry that I go to my boyfriend. I do not share it with cups, utensils, I make sure my hands are clean, and I do not kiss until at least a week after I'm sure he's gone. To summarize, I am very careful:).
