Cold sore?
Ok, I knew it was a cold sore last friday when it appeared, it’s now Saturday so it’s been a week and a day. I’ve used abreva, carmex, and right now I have some Lysine on it. Abreva wasn’t doing anything. Carmex made it feel better but whenever it would wipe off a yellow scab would form and it would hurt. Lysine seems to be almost doing the same thing.
Now there’s just like a large pink spot on the side of my lip and the texture of the skin is different and after 10 minutes of there not being an ointment on it, fluid starts to come out of certain parts.
It’s been 8 days, why isn’t it healing and what is the huge pink spot from?
I think you messing with it and giving it so much attention is not helping. They have ointments out for cold sores but they don’t work, just another way to take your money. You cold core is trying to heal but with all the moisture you are adding to it, it probably hasn’t had a good chance.
The best thing to do for cold sores is to try to avoid them by keeping stress low (kinda hard sometimes), keep your immune system high by drinking orange juice and avoid colds if possible.
