A diagnosis of bacterial infection, with similar sypmtoms as herpes simplex type 1?
I'm in Korea right now and go the doctor today for the blisters on my nose, like cold sores. I had this problem before and it starts with tingling, burning with redness in my nostril that develops smaller small blisters that eventually burst and form crusts. When I went to the doctor on Saturday, it was not ADAMENT infection but a viral infection, no bacterial no evidence preformed and caught the crunchy crust. My question is if anyone knows the types of bacteria that can cause similar symptoms as herpes skin? Moreover, if it was okay for the doctor to take off the crust that scar? I was supposed to come back tomorrow and if the doctor is trying to rub the crust again I must ask you not? I very concerned about the scars on his nose. I also work with children and I fear it could be contagious. Thanks in advance for your help.
